The electric SUV from Hyundai the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV has now set a new India book of record by covering the 7 wonders of India and was awarded “Fastest EV Drive“.
According to the India book of record Hyundai Ioniq 5 e SUV started its journey for this Fastest EV Drive on November 18, 2022, at 11.30 am from Golden Temple Punjab and completed its journey on December 9, 2022, at 4:00 pm at its final location Gommateshwara Statue in Karnataka.
On this long journey, this Hyundai Ioniq 5 electric SUV covered a total of 6458 km in 21 days where it covered India’s 7 wonders the Golden Temple of Punjab, Tajmahal, Khajuraho Temple, Nalanda, Sun Temple, Hampi, and Gommateshwara statue in Karnataka.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is one of the high-performance all-electric SUVs with a company-claimed 631 km of range, one of India’s longest-range EVs.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV price starts from Rs 44.95 lakh in India and goes up to Rs 50 lakh for the top model.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV has a big 72.6 kWh lithium-ion battery which powers the car and provides a long 631 km of range. It has a single electric motor that produces a massive 214.56 horsepower and from this power, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 8.5 seconds.
Also, this Ioniq 5 EV is the one of fastest charging EVs in Inid where this car can charge from 10% to 80% in just 19 minutes with a 350Kw DC fast charger. But right now there are not many DC fast chargers in India that allows charging this EV at this much speed.
Overall Hyundai has achieved a new record with its new electric car in India which is a good sign to show how capable are the EVs for long road trips.
