TVS has three variants of the iQube electric scooter TVS iQube, iQube S, and iQube ST. For these three models, they have 2 different battery packs 3.04 kWh and 4.56 kWh lithium ion battery packs.

Now the base models TVS iQube and iQube S have the smaller 3.04 kWh with a company-claimed 100 km of range from a single charge. Where the bigger 4.56 kWh battery pack option is available with the top model iQube ST where this big battery can provide up to 145 km of range from a single charge.

Now the x-showroom price of the TVS iQube is started from Rs 1.12 L, iQube S at Rs 1,20 L, and the iQube ST goes up to Rs 1.60 L.

TVS iQube Battery Price in India

The most expensive part of an electric vehicle is its battery and it may cost up to 50% of the whole vehicle’s price. And in other cases, the type and the capacity of the battery also vary its price.

Now TVS has not officially revealed the price of this iQube electric scooter but according to our research, the smaller 3.04 kWh battery pack will cost around Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000.

And the bigger 4.56 kWh battery pack price will be around Rs 60,000 to Rs 80,000 which can vary from one state to another due to taxes.

Where right now in India a 1 kWh li-ion battery pack price starts from 25,000. So, you can calculate the total price of the battery according to its kWh. But in some states, the government gives subsidies for some electric vehicles which will reduce the vehicles as well as their battery price.

As we above mentioned the price of the TVS iQube battery, now the replacement cost of this EV battery will be the same as the battery price with extra labor or technician cost. So the TVS iQube battery replacement cost will be around Rs 50,000 to Rs 80,000 for a new one.

But whenever the vehicle is under company warranty you don’t need to think about its battery replacement cost because the company will take care of the battery if it has any issue for free.

Otherwise, after the warranty period, if the battery or the vehicle has any problem you will be responsible for its all expenses.

Now the TVS motor has provided a warranty of 3 years or 50,000 for its TVS iQube battery and motor where if any kind of problem or issue is seen company will sort the issue for free or if the part needs to be replaced they will do it for free under the warranty period.

Now whatever comes first 3 years or 50,000 km the company warranty will be ended but for the extra warranty you need to expand its warranty period by paying extra.

TVS iQube Battery Life

Now if you think that TVS iQube has 3 year or 50,000 km warranty on its battery and motor, what happened if the given warranty period is over and the battery and motor will not work properly?

If you have this question in your mind then the answer is no after the warranty period the TVS iQube battery will lose 5-10% of health which will reduce its couple of km range which is not a big difference from the healthy battery.

So, the TVS iQube battery life will be a minimum of 5 years but if you properly maintain the vehicle and its battery then it will last longer than this period.
